The 2011 Golf Season is Still Going Strong on Cape Cod

lots of talent

good listeners

Thanks to great weather and super golf course conditions the fall season has been fantastic for those of us who like to play golf. I have played tournament golf at many different Cape Cod venues in September and October and our two courses are in as fine a shape as any of them. My best finish this fall was a third place in the CCPGA Championship at New Seabury. I hope the season continues right on into December.

The fall junior program will have a couple of rain dates coming up, Friday, November 4th from 3:30-5:00pm and Saturday, November 12, from 10:00- 12:00. All parents are invited to take part in the Saturday training so please bring your clubs and remember to dress appropriately for the weather. There has been some interest in continuing the junior golf training deep into the November and December months. If enough kids want to do it then junior training will be offered on Saturdays until weather says otherwise.
The juniors who have participated this year are becoming skilled, knowledgeable golfers. It is very fun to be a part of a group of kids who are so enthusiastic about the game of golf and I would like to say thank you to all the moms and dads for getting your junior involved.

On course lessons are becoming ever more popular among beginners as a great way to learn golf quickly. These group lessons are called Get Golf Ready and are a great value for the money, 10 hours of instruction for 199 dollars. Group size 2-8.
